I was not impressed by this article. The spring-loaded live fire reliably fires every time, so I don't have to worry about firing in an emergency. I wonder if this item will be where I need it when I need to use it. It snaps onto my keychain, but I struggled to get the tool off the chain without struggling for 30 seconds to get a good grip. I'm a woman and maybe the difficulties were related to the strength of my hand? The second problem I have with this product is that its use is not intuitive. My two teenage sons and I opened the package trying to figure out which end we were going to tape to the window to break it. The three of us instinctively pressed the rounded black end against the window instead of the flat black end. After reading the instructions we determined that the black flat end is the correct one as it has a spring loaded sharp end inside. Ideally, the tool should be intuitive without requiring the user to read instructions. I also think a visor mount would be a good place to have the tool in the driver's line of sight. I think this tool would be a good idea to carry around on your keychain if you needed to help someone else and had some presence of mind using this tool. However, if I were in a stress crisis, I don't know how soon I could use it.
