The care label for this fun and charming tunic says machine wash cold, gentle cycle, wash inside out with like colors. dry in the washing machine at low temperature. I did everything When I pulled it out of the washer there were fuchsia lumps all over it. I tumble dried it on low heat and it filled my lint trap with fuchsia. I vacuumed the fuchsia off my beige rug several times during the wash process. The lint also got stuck on other clothes. It hasn't faded much, although the wash water has definitely turned pink. If I might suggest, don't wash anything with it that has the slightest hint of white that contains cotton. Synthetic fabrics do not absorb dyes like cotton. I didn't have light cotton, but the wash water was a clear sign that unless *everything* you wash is the same color, you're going to see color transfer. Follow the care label for this fo sho. I am happy to report that the sequins have remained fully intact. Either way, it's very cute, despite the messy wash and dry cycle that's sure to get better with every wash. In this review, the retail price was around $25, which is quite reasonable.
