I didn't know if the keyboard cover only would sit on top of the keyboard and not attach like the rest of the case, but once I got used to the silicone key cover I liked it They don't stay on the keys when you turn your computer upside down (why would that be ?), but for general web browsing, note-taking, and pretty much any normal activity you would do with your laptop, the lid stays on the case, on my desk or in my backpack, so I can't speak about durability, but it doesn't really feel flimsy.The front plastic is thick enough that the apple icon doesn't show through the case, which is a big plus for me.FYI, these r case actually came from China! So if you want it ASAP, look elsewhere. I received my case in about 3 weeks which was earlier than the estimated delivery time. Overall I am very happy with this case and if I ever buy another I will use this seller/brand again.
