Difficult to stay level on the surface.
Despite being stuck with adhesive tape on all sides, the inner parts of the stencil still protruded beyond the area to be painted, causing spatters to form under the stencil. I was hoping they would be stiff enough to stay flat on the surface. I can try or use glue while the base coat is still slightly tacky if I repeat.
