Review on Automatic Transmission Assembly Replaces 4L3Z 7213 BA by Alan Singh

Great price, the plastic doesn't quite match the factory plastic but it's pretty damn close and is less than $30. I had a hard time finding easy installation instructions for this, so I'll give them below: 1. Take a plastic interior trim tool and press on the lower chrome piece at the bottom of the handle to separate them. I found it very easy.2. Pull the part of the handle that you want to replace. I took the red plastic piece and placed it on the old handle in the same place to pull the knob back. When pulling up, be careful not to lose the spring at the top of the handle.3. Reassemble it in the same order, you need to line up the button with the small oval hole on the internal shifter mechanism. I found I had to wiggle the handle to get the knob to engage. Pull the chrome piece at the bottom of the switch back up, it took more force to pull up than it originally did to push down, but popped out after a brief struggle.
