Review on 👧 Deluxe Classic Child's Rubies Costume by Ken Kowal

I ordered both small and medium because I wasn't sure about the size. My son is 5 1/2, 47 inches and 50 pounds so he would be close to being short. (one). The straps are different for small and medium size and none match the picture on the web or on the box/web. The small belt was all fabric, the middle belt was rubber/plastic and was huge - it was actually bigger than my waist - a 5ft 6in adult female. (see photo 2)(2). One of the feet on the middle pant is at the back, yes, the feet are pointing in two different directions. You can rotate the leg inside out, but then the leg rotates a full 180 degrees. (see photo 1) (3) Sizes: I find the size chart posted on Amazon to be pretty accurate. Klein (online) says up to 48 inches and 52 pounds and it almost fit us - the velcro on the shirt was a bit tight around the neck. The medium sized bodice fitted fairly well around the waist/shoulders but the tunic sections almost reached my son's feet. The little one's shoe covers were too small to cover his 12-foot height. The box says small size 4-6 for 3 years - 4. My relatively tall 3 1/2 year old floated in the small (41 inch 37 lbs). I'll probably end up saying my 5.5 year old is average. after I cut and re-stitched one of the boots and attached the new velcro to the huge belt (wow wow). In general it looks good. The quality isn't great, but none of these suits are. For $20 I think that's what you get.
