This dress was perfect for my daughter's event. She normally wore a 12 for the length but I sacrificed the length for a perfect fit on this dress and got a 10. The length was still very good. Underneath was a tutu skirt, similar to a petticoat, which added pomp and beauty to the dress. However, the sleeves were a little big and didn't fit at all, but they seemed easy to put on. I liked the look and left it alone. If you are purchasing this dress and your child is slimmer than my daughter, just pay attention to these sleeves and be aware that you may need to adjust. Overall this is a beautiful well tailored dress and I would definitely recommend it.
