I would describe this net as "medium duty". The joints seem to be well reinforced, but the thickness of the mesh is not very thick. I use it over a fence to keep baseballs off the street near my house. I have some doubts it will last more than a year or two, but that's partly because my location is in the woods. He has to survive bad weather and falling branches. There is a spot in the middle that is a bit frayed. If you haven't seen an update to this review in over a year, consider that a good sign of its longevity!
