I really like them for women
I got them to fit ears that haven't worn earrings in about a year. I wanted something I could wear for a while and not take off. They do their job well and look beautiful. I wear the smallest ones all the time, including while sleeping and even in the shower, and I'll wear the big ones to social events. They've been in my ears for over a week and I've had no sensitivity, discoloration or odor.
