I use all 5 ports. The Blu-ray playerXbox OneWii URokuPCI previously had a 4-port splitter. This one was great because it could switch automatically when I turned something on. I thought it would be the same here, but the auto function rarely works for me. I bought this one because of the extra port and also because the previous one made my PC monitor flicker when I switched to PC. Luckily this one doesn't have that. The IR remote works well. Image quality is good. Switching between inputs takes a few seconds, which I'm already used to. Previously, when I pressed the Roku remote, my TV would turn on, but now it doesn't. Well, it's probably because the Auto feature isn't working properly. Another good thing is that it has a little more weight. My last one was hunched over in the back due to the weight of the cables. This one has exactly the same configuration, plus one more cable. All in all it was a good buy.
