If this hand was worth $50-$60 I would give it 2-3 stars instead of 4. The instructions are simple and most of the time you don't even need them. I just referred to them to see which screw to use for the mounting base. Besides, it's pretty easy. It's well built, the gas spring is easy to adjust, and supports my 27-inch monitor, which weighs about 10 pounds. No complaints. My main complaint is that the two hex screws you use to tighten the monitor require too much force to install it properly. The monitor can easily tilt forward. It took me about 5-6 tries to get it where I wanted it because every time I adjusted the height by grabbing it by the base it leaned forward again. This should be fixed. Another minor complaint is that the base's clamping screw is too long, like it's designed for an 8-inch thick table or so. Because of this, I had to put another old hand bolt I had into the base of this one so it could fit. For reference, there is a cutout in the back of my desk for cables and this hole is about 5-6 inches and the screw is 7 inches when tightened to slide across the desk. This can be solved with a mod though, so this is a minor complaint and doesn't apply to all tables anyway. I am happy about the low price.
