The first iPod I had was an old fifth generation classic. Using an enclosure to protect your investment wasn't very relevant back then. After the Zune HD came out, I bought one of these and definitely put it in a case. I really liked this new device, but two years later Microsoft discontinued the product. I've decided to buy a new iPod Touch 7 since I'm in the Apple ecosystem. Unfortunately, Apple didn't have cases. Since I was torn between a silver iPod and a pink iPod, I settled on a silver iPod to go with all of my other Apple products. I was very happy to find the pink case. Not very enthusiastic about the front page, but it's enough for now. I didn't realize it was a two piece case and the plastic is just a translucent pink color, it doesn't have any little shiny spots embedded in the plastic. 3 stars because you can use the popsocket without damaging the easily scratched aluminum on the back of the iPod.
