Sorry for the bad review, I had high hopes for this scrub and the smell and texture are very good. However, I have to say that I have never had a reaction to any body, skin or face product in my entire life and have used many different brands of salt scrubs and body oils. However, after applying this scrub to my arms and neck (while showering and rinsing it off immediately), my skin immediately broke out into a red rash wherever it was applied and washed. I tried wiping the oil off when I got out of the shower as that's when my skin also started to get very itchy. After about an hour it calmed down. I do want to point out that the ingredients label is pretty generic so it's hard to tell what might have caused the reaction, although I suspect it was the essential oils. As I said, this is the first time in my life that this has happened when using body and skin products. It's a shame I won't be buying from this company again.
