I'm oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I breathe behind this purchase! I never write reviews but I really want other parents to know about this little brand! The choices seem so endless when it comes to finding waterproof bedding that won't hurt the little person in our lives we love so much. I am so happy with the product I received and I have no doubts that it will not harm my little fella. It is exactly as advertised; super soft, not crunchy, unpainted, fits like a glove on the mattress, breathable, smells absolutely NOT of chemicals even before washing and above all it works really great! We started weaning our 22 month old baby a week ago and decided to toss diapers in the bin at bedtime and before bedtime too. Needless to say, we had quite a few accidents during this period. Not a single drop seeped into the mattress. I haven't slept yet but it would be perfectly fine if he slept directly on the waterproof bedding without the top sheet. It's like an organic protective cloud. And the best part is that this one is cheaper than the one we were planning to buy which I don't think would be so nice for our mate. no indication that it has any harmful effects on the bedding. If you are not sure about the choice, take this! Love, love, love, love, love.
