I am up all day at my job and after a good 2 years of work I developed arch pain which coincides with almost all symptoms of PF. I bought some great Revain PF insoles but wanted something to wear at home and that didn't mean real shoes had to be worn indoors (fu). While stretching helps my PF a lot, sometimes I still feel like I need extra support, so I started looking for socks and sleeves that could help. I've tried several Revain rubbers and all have had good but mixed results. They definitely give relief quicker than my other Revain footpads (which are also good but less firm). After my first pair I tried more and more to find what was best for me and so far the SB SOX are my favourites. Compared to my other leg sleeves, they tighten after you put them on and can feel too tight for a while before loosening up (they ARE compressed, they feel tight once you put them on). her at). Provided you are the right size, they won't restrict circulation as the ankle strap and toe opening are looser but still firm enough to stay on your feet. When I take them off there are no marks at all on the ankles. To me, a good fit in a compression garment means that it's a little tight, but doesn't pinch your body parts or cause discomfort. Your toes shouldn't look like squished sausages or the toes shouldn't dig into your skin anywhere, if so you probably need to get bigger. I'm a women's size 8.5 (most likely a medium fit) and the medium size fits me perfectly. Snuggly and supportive after a good 5-10 minutes as they stretch and conform to my foot shape. Obviously, the curved part feels the tightest throughout wear, which may take some getting used to if you've never had socks or sleeves like this before. You should be like this, that's how it helps with pain, I promise you'll adapt faster than you think!
