There is no protection on the digitizer.

The package came in a cardboard box and in a bubble wrap. It contains all the tools, except cleaning cloths for the digitizer. Didn't think I'd need it as most screens come with a plastic protector. In front was one, behind was none. I searched and looked around to see if there was a protector, but I couldn't identify it. I noticed small debris and tried wiping it off with a micro cloth and it looked clean. After installing and removing the front protective film, it became clear that scratches were visible on the back of the digitizer. I also noticed a lot of dust when taking pictures with the flash. There are still many micro-scratches on the digitizer that the camera doesn't capture and doesn't display when the iPad is on. But when it's dark you can definitely see them all. There was a protective glass in the box, but no wipes.

Pros
