If you've never used KontrolFreek performance joysticks, you'll like them. They are similar to the original joysticks (upper rubberized part). They're pretty well done. Unfortunately I had to buy two sets as I needed two tall sticks as I now play with two tall (mid height) KontrolFreek joysticks. The seller could only offer a package with only two high sticks or a package with two high sticks so that the customer would not have to spend twice as much to get two high sticks. The description claims that this can improve accuracy and accuracy. This is true to an extent, however, unless you're used to KontrolFreek joysticks, which offer at least 50% more thumb rest and a much better grip (this article is pretty much the standard thumb rest joystick). then yes, they probably will, especially if you play shooters. But if you switch from using KontrolFreek to this one, you won't have a good time. Accuracy and precision went down for me. I bought these thinking they were the same as KontrolFreek's and since the materials are better I don't have to buy worn out ones every few months or so. I ended up returning them and will stick with my KontrolFreek even if I have to buy them every few months or so after they wear out. If you currently use KontrolFreek but don't want to buy new ones after they wear out, don't buy them, they won't be the same. If you have never used KontrolFreek, you should definitely try it. Who knows, you might like them.
