No instructions at first. I don't know what the little button on the microphone does. Worse, they become confused. Instead of the smooth rubber found in most headsets, which unravel almost effortlessly, this device's wires are sheathed in a sort of woven fabric that sticks to itself. As an experiment, I took my Sony earphones and these, threw them in a heap, shook them, unraveled them. I have done this several times. The Sony spikes almost resolved themselves. It literally took seconds. With these? Protocol! Each hinge had to be opened laboriously and often several times. Pretty much an exercise in frustration.
