This latest E2000 offers absolutely excellent value for money. Paired with an iPhone 7/7+ they're a treat even though I have to use Apple's Lightning dongle. The drivers are very well balanced with excellent clarity. I've been a semi-professional musician for about 25 years now, so I'm quite picky about sound quality. They have a very small mid-scoop, but the highs are crisp and not tinny, and the lows are well controlled, not muddy or clipped. Close to my ideal sound profile. Outstanding audibility even before driving in. I'm really excited about their prices. They put my custom 1964 ears to shame. The only downside is the lack of onboard controls, and the cord is about 8 inches shorter than I'd like (only about 3 feet long from plug to ear). The cable is long enough to fit in the front pocket of your pants as the iPhone/key connector comes out at the bottom of the unit. However, please note that the cable length may be too short for tall individuals when used with a mobile device that has a headphone jack on the top. absolutely exceptional Hope it lasts - will update this review if not.
