Our cat is getting older and it's getting harder and harder to jump out of bed. I wanted him to have something soft and plush that he can use when he's too tired to jump on the bed. (He thinks he owns it) Looks like this is exactly what I was looking for. It's shrink-wrapped and flat like a pancake. However, once you open it and give it a few days, it turns into a cute cat igloo. It is very soft and easy to clean. The only problem is that my cat doesn't use it! I've tried spraying it with catnip but that doesn't seem to work. I have to take a star off the rating because my cat is not using it yet, but otherwise it would be so comfortable and safe for the cat to rest. For those who are cats, you know how extraordinarily picky cats are. maybe and I don't want this review to discourage others from trying. I know my furry child would LOVE this item if they could overcome their own superficial judgment about it. Luckily, the company has a generous returns policy, so they're willing to support their product. As mentioned, it's designed for easy cleaning and features a removable pad. The materials used are very soft and pleasant to the touch. It also has a removable waterproof pad that fits under the seat cushion. I will keep trying to find a way to get my cat to use this because it looks very cozy and cat friendly. If I succeed I will revise this review to show how I did it.
