Ideal for the back seat of your car!

That's cool. I wish I had this for my last dog! We got a new lab puppy about 15 pounds and he came with a mesh cage which is not as strong as a normal kennel and because we have a large one it was hanging over the seat. My puppy could sit on any part of the seat without hesitation /kennel be. Speaking of a breeder car on the back for an 8 hour drive, I only folded up one end so I could use the seat and part of it covered 2 seats. It can be folded into 3 parts. It is made from 3 pieces of plywood with a one-piece durable plastic cover that allows you to fold it together. It closes the space between the back seat base and the front seat with a gap of about 1 inch when my 6 foot husband is driving. The sides connect to the back of the chair's headrests, leaving no gaps when fully installed. Manufacturer: The only suggestions I have are 1) 2 anchors that go under the seat to hold it right and left. If I tell him there isn't one in the middle, he loses his anchor a bit. It didn't slip, but I sat there. Maybe you could add a middle anchor? 2) Same problem with the headrest straps. If one side is folded it would be nice to have a strap in the middle of the headrest. 3) Another thing is when one edge is folded so only 2 pieces are used, the 2nd piece slightly overlaps the harness hooks so I have to lift the plywood floor, kennel and dog to buckle the harness. I recommend making it a little shorter for easier access to the harness if you can. I gave it 4 stars for those few design issues but honestly they did a great job with it and I highly recommend it!
