Review on GUNNAR Gaming and Computer Glasses: Riot, Onyx, and Amber Tint - Blocking 65% Blue Light for Enhanced Performance by Darin Brooks

Gamer Approved 👍 for Computers and Accessories

Let me tell you straight away that Gunner Amber lenses are your best bet when shopping for gamers' blue light blocking glasses. Anything under 60% blockage is a waste of money. Now it's time to look at the pros and cons of these points. BENEFITS: Ideal for long hours of play, relaxes the eyes and reduces eye strain. After wearing it for a week, my red veins in my eyes are reduced by 80%, the lens leaves very little, if any, fingerprints. with a cleaning cloth and a travel bag that doubles as a cleaning cloth. It may not suit everyone, but it suits me VERY well. (Slightly larger than the average male head size.) CONS: - The hinges are a little tight/difficult to move and not very well made (although still believable). - The glare of your eyes on the inside of the actual glasses can be distracting (although I easily ignore them). -The color may vary slightly due to the amber tint, but makes up for it by protecting your eyes very well. Final Verdict: I haven't tried Prospec (which is for more everyday use (not gaming)), HyperX (very expensive and didn't do anything for my eyes after a few weeks, although they offer very little color distortion), and Blue Light for Gaming Gunner . Goggles (currently the best in terms of comfort/quality/price for a long game). I would recommend the Gunner Amber version to anyone who wants to keep their eyes off the screen late at night or if they play video games/view monitors for more than 3-5 hours at a time.
