waste of money for me. I'm a belly dancer who dances on any surface. We usually dance barefoot, but I wanted something that would protect my feet and give me some freedom of movement, but still feel and look like I was barefoot. If you don't dance on a smooth floor made for dancing, then this isn't for you. After the 6th use they had a large hole in the ball of my foot near the big toe on one foot and started the same way on the other. They were comfortable and worked really well to the hole. I'm sure they are perfect for their purpose, ballet.
