Review on Metra 99-7516B Black Dash Kit for 2007-2009 Mazda CX9 - Single DIN/Double DIN Installation by Jasin Gilstrap

I used this Metra dash kit to install a two size Pioneer head unit on a 2015 Mazda CX-9. All the details match well and the visible trim goes very well with the factory trim next to it. A few things to look out for: A plastic rod that runs horizontally through the center of the pad. I used a dremel to make sure it was a clean cut and didn't crack the plastic. I would say they could do the fairing without the step or make it easier to remove so I gave it 4 stars. Finally, a piece of advice: be very careful with the wiring when connecting your new head unit. With the CX-9, the installation depth is not that great. The slotted mounting holes help free up space, but not too much.
