Keeps liquids cold (or hot)

This mug is my favorite. I'd rather provide a straw cleaning tool (good thing I already have one). And they should just forget about the stupid silicone base as it falls off every time you pick up a cup. The plastic lid fits well, but why not the SS lid with silicone gasket? We just don't need more pieces of non-recyclable plastic going to landfill. So overall, 1+ for the insulated stainless steel mug and 3- for everything else.
