Perfect fit for my wife's HP 17"+ laptop (I was concerned about the width) and she loves it. Unfolds to accommodate all her stuff nicely Professor with Magazines, mouse, power adapter etc. I would say if you do a lot of beating your laptop you might want to spend more for a softer bag, my own laptop bag has much thicker padding but this makes it bulkier and I can't pack as many documents and stuff. On the other hand I could probably throw it across the room with my laptop in it and everything would survive.. and she doesn't travel where she can get beat up. Besides, my bag cost twice as much. Think about the application. It was great for her I've had her not long ago and she's not cruel with it so can't really comment on durability but everything looks fine s streamed.
