This shell, like all shells, is made in the past. This does not take into account that the design of Apple laptops has changed. The new input options on the MacBook Pro are dedicated inputs. To use all standard USB 3 items, you need to use an adapter. The case will not allow you to connect the adapter unless you remove the bottom of the case. I had to cut and modify the shell myself. If you don't have a saw and grinder, don't buy this.
