I ordered colorful ones to hang up in the home office because festive lights always make me happy. My previous kits were regular fare and burned with warm damaged spots and I was afraid of a fire hazard so I went in search of a replacement. When I first saw the delivered box in an envelope, I pulled it out. I was like, 'Oh shit, this must be for a dollhouse. What a robbery." I opened the box, saw a small spool with wires wrapped around it, and thought: ... what a plagiarism. Then I unwound it, hung it up and pressed the remote control and - -- (I think I heard angels singing. Or maybe fairies.) They are amazing. Not too bright, not too dark. Perfect for ambient lighting without causing too much glare or reflections on my large TV screen that I use as a monitor If anything goes wrong I'll update my review, but so far I'm very happy with this purchase. (I don't know why a reviewer complained that they weren't long enough to decorate anything; I mean, they're 33 feet long. Thinking of wrapping them around your house for $13?)
