Good SUMMER bag/blanket

For the purpose of this review three stars is merely satisfactory no more no less. Recently purchased and already got to take on an overnight trip and it worked sufficiently, but you must know it’s limitations before purchasing. This is an (inexpensive.), lightweight, summer sleeping bag/blanket. The material is not the best quality and the down material is on the skimpy side. In the light you can pretty much see through it and see that in the baffles the down is very inconsistent when it was (lightly) filled. My first use temperature dropped just below 50°F and that seemed to be it’s limitation. Now all that being said this bag is extremely lightweight and packs up very small perfect for summer time backpacking where I live. The zipper quality seems ok, I really like that it has a lower zipper for your feet if you do get too warm. My advice to the manufacturer would be one of two options either keep the product as it is and retail it at around $40 or keep the price as is and actually use an adequate amount of down material to fill the baffles and you would have a spectacular product in comparison too many of the higher end down sleeping bags.

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • The bag may not be long enough for taller people.
