Poor quality broke on first use

Zipper insert broke on first use. Upon closer inspection, the remnants of cheap plastic in the tip were crumbling and looked poorly assembled. We have quite a few Lightning cables, but we need a longer cable - the damage is definitely a first for us and I'm still confused. Not recommended - see photos.
