I have an HP Specter-13T. I bought it when the HP OEM cable started charging the laptop constantly. It's probably because it's coming straight out of the USB-C port and hitting my leg. This charger has an input that goes out of the way and works great. I keep getting an error saying I should use an OEM charging cable, but that's not a problem, just click OK. I didn't notice the laptop getting any hotter with this cable than the original. It doesn't hit my leg when the laptop is on my lap so should last a very long time. It was also a much better price than the OEM cable.
