Review on ๐Ÿ“ฑ Vena vCommute Wallet Case - Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (6.8"), Military Grade Drop Protection, Flip Leather Cover with Card Slot Holder and Kickstand - Space Gray by Lisa Fernandez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Yes, this allows you to wirelessly charge your phone (with the cover open)

First of all, this case allows you to wirelessly charge your phone according to the user manual. You don't have to take it out of the case. Just open the back cover and place your phone on the wireless charger. Unfortunately, those using wireless chargers with magnetic mounts are out of luck. Main Rating: All round good case and very stylish. With a built-in card slot and a fold-out kickstand, this case is thicker than other protective cases. It's the compromise you'll have to make when it comes to an otherwise well-designed case. The Galaxy S21 Ultra is already a very large phone and even I, someone who was used to the size of my previous Galaxy Not 9 with a case, had to stretch further than I was used to. Your mileage may vary depending on the case on your phone, but personally I'm fine with that. I'm using it for an upcoming business trip so I can minimize what I need in my bags when checking in for my flights. It holds 3 typical cards really securely and a folded bill fits in a room too. The lid closes securely enough. There is a millimeter or two flap at the rim that is easy to grab with your thumb to open the wallet compartment. I'm right-handed and it's a bit annoying to feel that little ridge on my thumb when I'm using my phone, but it doesn't bother me. unreliable, portrait format). It's not as sturdy as the palm rests you'll find elsewhere, but once you get the hang of it, it's mostly fine. Note that you can also get a few more angles of the phone by folding the iPad flip covers (triangle) or as shown in the case images. It's nice to look down while eating to watch a video, compared to the 75-90% angle in a typical setup. The body of the case itself is really solid, with a nice gray plastic frame and solid TPU making up the rest of the protection. . The area around the camera is deep (even with my 1-2mm camera lens protector, it's still pretty deep). No interference for photography. The front has slightly curved edges at the top and bottom of the phone to protect the screen from touching flat surfaces. However, as noted in another review, the front edges of the case still keep the screen close to the table, especially if you have a screen protector. The body area next to the camera is made of TPU and is hollow. There is enough space for a neatly folded bill. The cavity of this area is not as dangerous for damage as it is bordered by a gray plastic frame. Mentioned it just in case. The mic, speaker, and USB-C ports are well-aligned, and there's plenty of room for almost any USB-C cable port. The button covers are great and easy to press. No problem responding to my clicks. All in all, this case is worth the money if you're willing to make the necessary compromises for solid protection and card space. I knew I would use this case to minimize things in certain situations, so I'm happy with my purchase. However, I'll be going with my everyday Torras Moonclimber case (clear TPU and metal kickstand) for this phone. This one isn't slim either, but it's more form-fitting and has a more comfortable stand.
