This is a beautiful set of eight colored mixing sponges in a plastic case which makes the sponges look like an egg carton. I love sponges because they are dense. Their colors are bright. The plastic holder allows the sponges to remain separated from make-up color contamination. There are two flat/angled sponges that are great for a smooth application. There are three other sponges: the typical egg-shaped sponges and three hourglass-shaped sponges, both of which are good for blending or applying larger makeup. All sponges are comfortable to the touch, well shaded and comfortable to the touch. These blenders make a great gift for makeup geeks. I like that the sponges don't smell.
