I would like to start by saying my comments here are completely impartial and I have not paid nor received any free products for a positive review. Let me start with why I bought these ankle length sleeves. About 15 years ago I sprained my ankle very badly. Long story short, I've had a very serious pronation problem in my right leg ever since, and now I keep twisting my ankle. The smallest rock, bump, slope, etc. can throw my foot off balance and cause it to roll. Those of you who have done this multiple times know how painful it is. So, in an attempt to add support and relieve the constant pain and swelling I'm getting from my old injury; I read about compression sleeves and after reading many reviews about them I bit the bullet and bought them. My first impressions were "wow, they are very nicely made", "maybe too well made, my foot and ankle are getting hot". The material they use is thick, high quality material. It doesn't look cheap or feel cheap at all. I've been wearing it for about a week now and can't believe how much better it makes my ankle feel. Of course, nothing will completely relieve my pain, but they greatly reduce swelling, improve circulation, and really help support my ankle. Like I said, don't expect magic here. Old injuries are unfortunately stubborn, but these are very pleasant. To my surprise, I wore them outside for more than 12 hours this week in 30 degrees and my foot didn't get hot or sweaty. I don't know exactly what they make them out of, but I'm very impressed. I will definitely take a pair to change into and wash. But do yourself a favor and buy them. They have great customer service and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. So you can't go wrong, just right. A very happy and satisfied customer!
