It's fine for a basement but not underground with dirt and ventilation

Background: Recently the underground of my 1200 sqm. Foot was flooded due to heavy rain and improper placement of downspouts. I bought an industrial garbage pump and flushed out the water. I then installed a French drain and drain pump to prevent future flooding. At this point the air appeared to be saturated with a relative humidity (RH) of about 89%. So I wanted to find something that would stay in the crawl space all the time and help with draining. While shopping I found this device that was easy to set up and had wifi for monitoring. Thanks to Alorair for the APP integration and easy setup. I liked the entire installation experience. The power cord and drain pipe were long enough. All reviews below are based on using the device for approximately 143 hours (6 days): I used the TP Kasa Link Wi-Fi Switch to monitor power consumption. The device consumes about 485 watts. Cost per day for continuous operation: 9.71 kWh * $0.33 $3 (power consumption picture attached). The approximate running cost per day is about $3. I have placed a Govee WiFi thermometer with a temperature and humidity sensor within 2ft of an Alorair unit every 10 minutes. The data collected is attached and shows that when the unit was installed, the relative humidity dropped by about 5% 6 days later. I also collected the flush water from the unit in a 96 gallon trash can. Over a 6 day period, the tank accumulated about 25 gallons of water, averaging 4.2 gallons per day, which works out to about 33 pints per day (PPD) (I was expecting a lot more since the listing says 180 PPD). not satisfied with the performance, especially the amount of water blown. For an enclosed space like a basement, it can be beneficial to keep humidity levels low. Or maybe my device was defective.
