Today I installed this cable to go through the front rail (thanks it's reliable) and it's exactly what I wanted . This is a very small and therefore unobtrusive extension cord. It doesn't say anything about how much current it can carry, but as shown it's clearly rated for the very light load LED bulbs I have, so no problem. The fact that there is no capacity specification has cost it a star. The second star was lost when I had to plug what I thought were standard Christmas lights into an outlet. It was very tight, too tight for my liking. I understand you want a good seat, but be careful. I plan on leaving it connected to the string of lights when the lights go out and not doing it again.
