Looks like what I needed

I have just received this product and have not had a chance to test it but from my experience it looks like I need it. I've used hydration packs for years and I've used camelback bags for years. It gets very hot here and I love cold water, so in the past I've made my own sleeves out of aluminized bubble wrap. To be sure - it really works and it just takes a little patience to find the right fit. I have one in my 3 liter camelback mule right now. But I wanted to be able to use my bladder with an old Duluth backpack, and my homework didn't quite match. I was looking at a separate camelback bag and it seemed interesting enough to go to the local shop and check it out. Very good pockets - not good for my backpack but wish I had one as a spare bladder as I lived in the desert. I also looked at the Deuter case - it's really good and I use Deuter and Osprey backpacks so I was very interested. It was too big - I really needed a thin two liter case. I received this boy today. My two-liter bladder is tight but fits perfectly in my old Duluth backpack. I will try tomorrow. The central position of the tube exit seems to work well, but it looks like it would be easy to pull the tube out from the side if needed. For the price - looks like good value for money. Our heat index today is 102 with high humidity so tomorrow will be a good first test for me. As a side note, it's too big to fit in my camelback crook that I use when cycling. The scammer does a good job of isolating, so I didn't need it for this app, but I gave it a try anyway.

Pros
  • Bladder's specially designed water hose outlet keeps outside temperature in and works great in almost any proper hydration pack. Suitable for 2 liter bladder or filling or adding ice
Cons
  • Negative gift
