Considering the cost, I'd be hard pressed to find a better all round case! My only advice would be to put a strap on the back that would allow it to slide over the handle of your carry on and I think that's perfect. It has a nicely padded main pocket that fits very snugly to the surface, as well as 2 outside pockets for your extra essentials. I didn't want a case that would allow for casual gaming with the device inside. This is a solid purchase. I paid full price, didn't get a discount or asked to leave a review and I can say I was more than impressed when it arrived (we're always skeptical). I hope for the best but expect the worst unless I'm paying for quality I KNOW it is. Your power cord, pen, etc. fit perfectly in the front pockets. The strap is good enough for what you need and I'm happy to find a case that comes with it as most don't.
