I love the extra height and flexibility to mount multiple displays. In addition to removable mounting plates, it also greatly simplifies the installation of monitors. The plates are also height adjustable, which is handy if you have monitors from different manufacturers and the screens don't quite match. But. It turns out that the detachable mounting plate just slides freely on the bracket and slightly "sways” when lifting the monitor. For example, turn on/off the power and there is 1/4 inch or more. Not good. It soon became very annoying. I drilled a hole and put some set screws on the mounting plate. . Now after putting the monitor on my hand I tighten the set screw and all is good. Ask the manufacturer to add set screws. Otherwise, an 8x32 faucet is about $5 at Home Depot.
