Review on πŸ’‘ atolla Powered USB Hub - 4-Port USB 3.0 Data Hub with Smart Charging Port - USB Splitter w/ On/Off Switches - Includes 5V/3A Power Adapter by Gabriel Tomato

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like this hub very much - it has a lot of connections for my needs

The quality of the camera didn't match, so I can't rate it. I don't use it when traveling, so I can't rate it. For travel, it seems nice if you could just plug in an extra flash drive or two. I bought a powered hub because I have external hard drives that I sometimes need to connect at the same time. Some of them are SSDs and don't use much power, but a few are more power-hungry drives. This unit can probably handle a single SSD without AC power, but I'm connecting it because mine are connected at the same time. This hub is reasonably priced (in my opinion) for what I do. It has five ports including a charging port. The charging port works well and can also be used as a data port. The hub construction makes a solid impression. A 3 foot power cord and a USB cable is enough for me. I suspect that one could buy a longer USB cable for it if desired. USB port, which turns off the port. These buttons are raised, making them easy to accidentally press if you're not careful. Just something to be aware of. In terms of quality, I have two of them. One operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - no problems in more than 12 months of ownership. I haven't used the second one that often, but haven't had any problems with it so far. I would always buy another if I needed a third hub.

Pros
  • practical thing
Cons
  • very expensive
