I bought these sneakers the night before going to the water park because I didn't want to wear flip flops. They were comfortable and true to size. Being new to me, after 17,000+ steps at the amusement park in the afternoon/evening, they chafed and blistered. The next day I put them on with my water socks and they were comfortable without chafing the sore spots. I would recommend wearing them around the house or for short distances to break them in before doing a lot of walking in them unless you are wearing water socks which minimize chafing.
