Thomas, thanks for noticing the instructions on the pictures were very helpful! Once you find and pull thin strings, it becomes pretty easy. Eventually the rope started to break, so it might make sense to pull the band tighter. The other problem was that one set of loops was not attached, so I cut off a piece and just connected the two pieces by hand. Just pull steadily and gently and you should be fine. We'll be using it for the grand opening at work, so we're looking forward to that.
