The colors in this quilt set are a lot nicer than the picture. However, they are not loud. It just looks richer. I bought the king size version to use on a queen size bed. So the fit of the blanket was good. However, I don't see how this would fit well in a true king bed. I would recommend buying the next size up mattress for the full and queen mattress. If I had a king bed I would look further, it might look too small and not cover your mattress well. I didn't think there was too much green here. I have some navy blue/turquoise pillows that look pretty good on the bed with this comforter as the teal colors in the coloring seem to come out with them. I also have some green pillows and when they are alone on the bed the green color seems accentuated. So it's up to you. I have green walls and use a mix of deep teal and frost green cushions in addition to the huge overlays in the background. is working. The small pillow that comes with the kit is much more attractive than the one shown in the photo. For the price this is an excellent buy. The blanket feels very rich and very soft. You will love the "touch". The weight is light, perfect for the summer months and to my personal taste. The fluffiness of the blanket makes it heavier than it really is. At the same time, it glides across the bed like silk, not hard at all; and very malleable. I highly recommend this beautiful blanket.
