Purchased to light a stand for my reef aquarium. After a little over a month, the adhesion to the aluminum stand started to decrease. and after a little over 2 months of minimal use (maybe only 3 hours "on" time) they are completely dead. I also noticed that the plug got very hot when plugged in for more than 5 minutes, with the power adapter being more than could provide enough power. So could this be due to bad connections at the barrel connector? May be. but that just means it's poorly made.
