Charges my radio, lights up red when charging, turns green when charging. I was concerned about charging as it's not really a Motorola product, just a good copy. But autoloading seems to work as expected. So far I haven't seen the annoying auto-recovery feature that some Motorola chargers have, and I hope it doesn't. There are no instructions other than a small piece of paper telling you how to move the spacer for a different size battery. Inserting the radio into the charger isn't as smooth as the original charger, but that's not a problem.
