This is a great little mirror that I'm using for an unusual purpose; Reflecting light on my face so I can see myself shaving. I use it in our cabin which didn't have electricity when we bought it and we hung an adjustable gooseneck table lamp over the (large) mirror for bathroom lighting when we had cabin wiring. Difficulty shaving was a small daily annoyance that made it impossible for me to motivate myself enough to turn on the bathroom light. However, I realized that the small mirror hanging next to the large mirror on the closet should reflect enough light to shave. I put it on the closet door so all I have to do is open the door at the right angle to reflect it on the right side of my face, it works like magic! I didn't want to use the included hanging hook, so I used Command's double-sided tape to hang it until I did something the light-weight adhesive I used didn't hold, and I found the mirror on the tabletop a couple of times when it did Fell about 2 feet on a hard surface with no damage.
