I can't comment on the ergonomics other than that these controllers are too big for small hands to feel comfortable in, but I find they fit my hand well. This applies equally to the original controllers. In terms of compatibility with the originals, I bought two of these and after unboxing them today they were great for playing Dungeon Defenders. Sensitivity is the same as the originals, controls are generally the same. However, the material is not the same; There is a noticeable change in texture suggesting the grips may not hold up over time. Nevertheless I am satisfied; For its part, the difference in quality of the thumb stick materials is less of a concern than the overall handling of the controllers.
