I feel like these are better for biking than gym activity but that's just my opinion.I DON'T like that they don't cover my belly button. I feel if a pant is going to be high-waisted it at least needs to come a bit higher than these do. Also there's some odd puckering around the hipbone area, but that might just be that I'm more curvaceous than some. The print is pretty and fairly unique, the pocket might be good for some cash or a card, but I wouldn't trust my phone to it as there's only two lines of stitching keeping your phone from falling all the way down your leg. It's just stitching, not an actual inset pocket; keeping two layers of fabric together: the actual pant and the galaxy overlay. Perhaps an old school Ipod, or a SMALL Mp3 player? I'd be afraid the weight of a phone would rip right through, personally.
