I was hoping for a heavier knit hat for the very cold days here in Wisconsin. This is a very good hat for cool days and will be good for fairly cold weather. It's just an average thickness so I'm still looking for a very warm thick hat. The hat appears to be well made and comfortable to wear. It fits very well and is the right length for a good look.
