I only needed one of these because my cat had a paw injury. I needed him to have some kind of reference and something to hold the medicine so he couldn't block it. Well, while they didn't always stay alone for more than an hour, they worked great with a little tape around the leg with them. We used 2 socks for much softer cushioning as kitties love to jump and jump off things. I would recommend them if you need something for the same as me. After months of inactivity, kitty litter kept getting into the wound and other products never worked. With these socks, it only lasted a week and Bubu was able to form a crust and eventually fall off. He's better now, and I have those booties to thank for that.
